What is the difference between multi-rotor drones and other drones?

Usually the number of rotors of a drone is positively related to its stability. Dual-rotor drone Disadvantages:  The flight stability is low, and it is easily affected by the weather, and the reliability is relatively low. And can only fly in two directions towards the motor, giving the control algorithm more reliance. The structural layout of the UAV needs to be more rigorous, the distribution range of the center of gravity should be more accurate (it needs to be located in the center of the connection between the two motors), and the modification is relatively difficult. Advantages:  Longer battery life and higher efficiency since only two motors are required. Tri-rotor drone Disadvantages : In the outdoors, due to the wind, the stability is still not enough, the reliability is still not high; and the speed and performance are lacking. Advantages : It can control more directions of flight than dual-rotor UAVs and can withstand larger loads. Quadcopter drone One of the most common d
